De Rijke Logistics receives AEO certificate

In an official ceremony on 17 February 2010 Mr. Mulder and Mr. Meijer of the Dutch Customs Authorities handed over the AEO certificate to Mr. Wouter Brouwer - Business Unit Director De Rijke Logistics and Mr Kees De Rijke – Owner of De Rijke Group.

By means of the certification De Rijke Logistics can officially call itself an EU Authorised Economic Operator and therefore meets the requirements as laid out by the EU in the Community Customs Code as amended by EC Regulations 648/2005 and 1875/2006.

As a result of this De Rijke Logistics is able to further strengthen its role as valued supply chain partner towards its customers as the goods flow handled by De Rijke Logistics will be subject to less controls and priority treatment as well as will give easier admittance to customs simplifications, the possibility to request a specific place for controls and allows for prior notification in case of shipments under customs regime.

It is therefore believed that for customers working close together with De Rijke Logistics the benefits will be further enhanced.
